Blogmas Day 8 | A Day In My Life

As you can see I am doing a terrible job at doing this blogmas thing. I really want to do it, so I will try to upload as much as possible. In this post I will guide you through my day :)

1.       I woke up at 7am and put on my clothes, and went upstairs.

2.       I went to the bathroom to put my makeup (only mascara for me today) .

3.       After my routine on the bathroom, I fed my dog and went for a walk with my dog.

4.       I ate my breakfast and opened my adventcalender

5.       I headed off for school.

6.       1st Class which was physics

7.       2nd Class which was English

8.       3rd and 4th class which is culture understanding, which is the class I’m in, as I´m writing this.

9.       After school I’m going to a meeting in my bank

10.   I’m picking up my friend, because it’s his birthday, and I’m going to celebrate with him and his family.

11.   As the last thing I do today before I go home and practice play some flute is, to go to my grandma´s place and switch cars, because I am borrowing hers tomorrow.

I hope you liked having an insight in my life. I have to say, my days are never similar beside some few things, so if I made this tomorrow, it would probably look a lot different :)

Blogmas day 1 | Better luck this year?

Last year I tried out blogmas, but with no luck. This year, I decided to try again. This time though I actually remembered to start the first day of Christmas, which is already much better than last year where I started December 20th.

This year I feel December is very special. Why? I don't know, but what I think is, this will be a December full of love and Good feelings. Even though I have my things to struggle with, I will try my best to be happy, and focus on that. And my advice would be, that you do the same. It will please everybody :)

Pamber yourself!

A thing I'm really bad at is, to pamber myself. Whether it's about taking an hour to read a book, or if it's to go all in and have a full pamper night with baths, face masks and pajamas. Just to get a haircut is something I'm bad at. Last time I got a haircut is five months ago, and before that, it was over a year since I got one last time. Sometimes it's just about to sit down and breathe. To do something you feel great about! We all know that feeling we get, when we walk out from the hairdresser. Most times it is an amazing feeling, because something new happened and that is good. Even though the feeling is only there for a few hours, it's still great.

What I want to say is, treat yourself once in a while. Do something for you, and not al-ways think of helping others, or let others decide what to do. This is for you, and that's it. I just ordered a time at the hairdressers even though my hair actually doesn't need it (I know that you're supposed to get it but every third month, but my hair just isn't damaged at all), and I literally can't wait. I love changes. Even though I love my friends and family, I feel like I need to do something for me now. I've been helping a lot with their problems and such and now, it is finally me time again (as selfish as it sounds) :)

18

Last month I turned 18! I can now decide everything myself and I can legally of clubbing. I had the best party ever with my family and a single friend. I decided not to go too crazy, but I couldn't have had a better day. We all started the party out going for a walk. 100 meters from where I live, my whole dance team was, ready to have a show, and after that making my family dance. It was an amazing icebreaker, and everyone enjoyed it. It was the best way to start of the party I think. After I opened my presents from them, I went back to my guests who was already at my home again, and greeted them all and opened my presents from them as well. Then we got some amazing food, we ordered to my home. People were soooo full when we got to desert that basically no one was able to eat it. Then, we have a tradition here in denmark which is, when you turn 18 you gotta have 18 shots, which of course I had to get as well, so while all of my cousins cheered I got 18 shots. I must say though. They weren't all alcohol and I threw four of them out, because I was already kind of drunk and it would all get back up if I drank the beer shots. I then had to get ready to go to my cousin Victor's place. He was so kind to let me join his little party before my cousin Sofie, Louise, Maria, my friend Camilla and I had to go clubbing. Half an hour later we walked there. We didn't stay for too long, because it was now time for clubbing. I must say, even though I've never thought of me clubbing, it was the meat time EVER! Even though I had to leave my 17 years old cousin at home, I had such a great time. I could let go of every negative thought, and just enjoy the company I had with me. Such a great time!

Also everyone in my family gave me some amazing presents, and I was overwhelmed by all the presents I got. Here is a little overview of what I got.

A cookbook, a camera and a camera holder

Two vases

A flatiron

A mac foundation, a chanel perfume and a YSL lipstick (In this picture there need
mac lipstick and my dance shoes)

A thing to make coffee in and some knifes

A skarf and a perfume

A can

A tin (I think it's called that but I'm not sure)

Mac, Starbucks And A Sleeping Baby ❤️

Yesterday me, my mum and my grandma went to the big city near me called Aarhus (or Ã…rhus as we say in Denmark :)). We were going there because we were going shopping for a new pair of dancingshoes, and I can't get the where I live. The shoes I was going for, was a pair of leather shoes, but unfortunately I couldn't get the right pair, so I went for another pair, which happened to be cheaper. That only means one thing. You´re right, that means shopping! The shoes were a presents from my grandma, since I'm turning 18 nests week. My grandma told me, that I could use the last money in the mall, so I went shopping.

At first, I walked around like a tourist in my own country. Everything was sooooo overwhelming. I was in a mac store for the first time. I walked around in there looking at everything, and I didn't even know where to start. My grandma and mum wanted to start from the top and go to the bottom, so we went to the fifth floor. After lunch I only had in mind, to go back to the 1st floor again and look at the products.

As we went back to the 1st floor I went straight into the mac store, and finally figured out, what to buy and ended out with a Mineralize foundation and a lipstick (I can't remember the name right now). I haven't regretted it one moment, which means, I really like it because I normally regret things haha.

As we were walking through the entry again I saw a thing I haven't seen in Denmark before. A starbucks (I actually saw it in the beginning, but I didn't really think more about it). I had to get one. I walked there, to see what I could get. I saw the strawberry cream frappucchino. I got to get it and I had to pay, and OMG I've never payed that much for a drink, but I had to get it, but I have to say, it was worth ALL of the money. Such a pleassure.

The day after the lovely trip to Aarhus my beautiful babies came around. Of course they're not mine but they are my cousins. Their names are Lucas and Ella and they're my  everything. I adore them so much and they do so many cute things. Today Lucas decided to fall asleep in my arms, which is a thing he hasn't done since he was a few months old (back then he did it all the time). It felt amazing! i am filled up with love from this little boy!

I know this was slightly out of topic, but felt like sharing this love I got today from little baby  lucas <3

Turning 18

Turning 18 has always been a big milestone for me. When you're 18 you're an adult. You have to make your own decisions and in the end, they're all up to you. When you're 18 you decide what to do with your life. If you want to become and artist, its you're decision to go follow your dreams. Your parents can't force you not to do what exactly you want.

I remember the thing about turning 18 I was the most exited about was getting my drivers license. Now, at the age of 17 years and 11 months I am in the middle of getting my drivers license (which takes forever in Denmark). I have been waiting for this since I can remember. For a lot of people this wouldn't be a big deal, but I can not only do what I want, I also have the opportunity to go on adventures with my mum I haven't been able to do before because she has an injured back so she can barely drive.

Even though there's 100 of exiting and new things you can do when you turn 18, there's also the downside of turning 18. You get bills to pay, people expect you to act like an adult, and I feel like my inner child is fading. It's hard to stay childish in a world where you gotta act like a grown up and take responsibility.

Please go to twitter (link will come) and tell me what you think is the worst about growing up, and I will answer you :)

Going to the beach!

So the next 5-6 days am I going to spend at my grandma's house by the beach, and going away Means one thing... Packing! Packing is a thing I truly hate. I am a quite organised person at first but the day before we leave, I am never able to find ANYTHING of what I need, and this time, I left without any shorts. Well here you can follow my packing journey, enjoy :) x

My lovely pink suitcase which I had to fit all my stuff in.
Actually I use to have a bigger one which you will probably find crazy,
when you see one of the last Pictures.

The stack of clothes I needed to bring, and this is actually
not even half of it, but when I took the Picture I thought is was.. Oops!

My vacation essensials, and yes I know it looks boring, but that's
just what I wouldn't be able to live without. From the backroad
from the left we have: Volume hairspray, saltwater, hand moisturizer,
deoderant, "Our Moment" perfume from 1D, E.L.F Day 2 Night eyeshaddow
pallete  my liquid maybelline eyeliner, The Kate Moss lipstik from
Rimmel in the shade 01, Wake Me Up concealer from Rimmel, The Colossal
Volum' Express mascara from maybelline (The rocket mascara should
have been here aswell), Scandaleyes mascara from Rimmel, Some hairwax
from Garnier and last but not least someJewelleries.

This toiletbag was so stuffed that I couldn't get it in my suitcase.

My other toiletbag I used for my makeup.

Some DVD essensials. I actually ended up taking Lemonade Mouth
and Ramona and Beezus out Again, but one sure DVD essensial for me is
Sex And The City the first AND the last one.

The almost finished result. I still needed to put my underwear and
socks in. Yup there's not much Space back, and I actually had another
back PLUS my handback also, and the other back couldn't even close.

Packing too much? Probably, but I do don't like missing anything, but I know I'll regret it when I come home and need to unpack it all Again, because is there a thing I hate more than packing, its unpacking :)

Thanks for reading!

Moving out

Lately I have been walking around with the idea of moving out. It was actually my aunt who told me, that she told me it would be good for me, so I've definitely thought about that. The thing that really bothers me is that I wanted to finish college (or highschool if you're in America) first, and then move out. Maybe travel a bit first, but didn't move before I've finished my "Youth" stuff. Anyways I've talked to my mother about it, and I've been thinking a lot about it, and I've almost (not 100 % sure, but almost :)) come to the decision that when I come home from my Holiday, I will go looking for a flat. Therefore I am slowly starting to buy some home stuff for my new place, which is some things I actually really enjoy buying. Even though I don't have a date at all, it could be a month after I turn 18 - which would be in October - or in four years I don't know, but the things I buy is things i can use no matter when I move.

The thing I know for sure right now is, that moving out will be one of the biggest things I've ever done. I will overcome a fear, I will become more independent and I will hopefully learn how to Cook ;). If you're considering to move out please be sure you're ready (which is the thing I'm conserned about)because it would be so sad to move back home (and a Waste of Money unfortunately).

A thing I am really looking forward to is, that everything will be mine and everythhing will be up to me. Like what's in the fridge, which color im gonna have and when I will eat :)

Also I want to let you know that there will soon be a haul  up on my youtube channel about the stuff I'm buying. You can find my channel here :)

Hope what this blog post helped you maybe a bit with your thoughts about moving out, I think it's worth thinking about :)

Independent

Three months ago my mum and I decided that it was about time that I had to handle my own money, all by myself because I will turn 18 in september, and then I have to do it ALL by myself. I don't have a job, so and that meant that I didn´t have any money. My first thought was: yes, now i can finally go shopping a lot more, but NO!

The first month was December, which meant, that I had to go Christmas shopping. That took my money away the first month.

The next month was obviously January, and I had to pay for a lot of things I had to go to with my dance class, and I had to pay for a few parties I was going to. Yes I know that wasn´t exactly necessary, but I thought it was time to socialize a place where I didn´t knew everyone, also two of my friends wanted me to go, so I got out of my comfort zone and went to the parties. During January I realised that my contacts wouldn´t last forever, and I needed to get some really soon or else danceclasses, workouts etc would become a living hell to me, because I either wouldn´t be able to see anything and get really dizzy or my classes wont be able to stay on my nose because of sweat. Also I got this brilliant idea in the late January tha I would join the gym. Which I love so much, but my budget don´t agree, so I sadly had to go and tell them that I couldn´t stay due to money problems.

In february I started to feel that I was able to control my money a bit more, but as soon as I had that thought I remembered I still haven´t bought my contacts and I have to pay for the gym AND danceclasses, so I only got a bit left. Now I´m looking forward to March because I "only" have contacts and dance to pay for and then I can buy the stuff I really need.

My point in all this is, that money is not easy and I, after this experience, think that it´s important to try to be responsible for your money before you´re all by yourself, also to not only go shopping, but realise that theres actually things you NEED to buy even though you don´t wanna spend your money on it. I am glad that my parents let me have this experience before I´ll turn 18 and have to do this by my self, and then it´ll be much more serious because I will have bills and stuff.

Also I'm trying to save some money if I suddently need something, like a trip with school and so on, and that is basically my best advise if you want to be responsible with your money.
